We Are A Community Committed To Its Children

241 Challenge

Brookside Administrative Offices, Community Ed and Alternative Learning Center
The board of the Education Foundation launched the 241 Challenge to challenge the community, alumni, and others committed to supporting the work of the foundation. The challenge is this: We’re looking for 241 donors committed to giving $241.00 for 2 years, 4 years, or1 year.

This money will be used to supplement the endowed Student Assistance Fund, which is regrettably unable to meet increased applications for assistance at this time. Currently, the district has almost 50% of its students qualifying for Free or Reduced Lunch which is the main criterion for applying for assistance funds. It varies from building to building with the lowest at Sibley (40.4%) to the highest at Halverson (73.2%)

Please consider helping us raise that total before the end of the current school year. Tax-deductible contributions should be sent to:

Education Foundation of Albert Lea,
P. O. Box 828
Albert Lea, MN 56007

Please indicate on your check your desire to provide $241.00 for 2years, 4 years, or 1 year. Information about the Education Foundation and its various funds and activities can be found on this website.
